Three consecutive Pro Bowls plus two straight 1st-team All-Pro selections (2023, 2024) establishes him as one of the two best RTs in football alongside Lane Johnson. The STTM arc (#63 rookie, #32 in 2022, #6 in 2023, #29 in 2024, #9 in 2025) shows a non-linear development followed by sustained elite-tier production. At 26 with the $112M contract through 2030, he is the cornerstone of Detroit's offensive line for the foreseeable future.

Sewell came out of Oregon as Detroit's 1st-round pick (7th overall) in 2021 after winning the 2019 Outland Trophy as the nation's top interior lineman, the youngest winner in award history. He has spent his entire career at right tackle for the Lions and made the 2022, 2023, and 2024 Pro Bowls, with 1st-team All-Pro honors in 2023 and 2024. His 2023 tier 1 (#6) finish was his STTM peak, and the 2025 tier 2 (#9) finish is a mild step back from the 2023 peak but well within elite-RT territory.
