Scouting Report

TEXAS A&M · 2026 draft class

Dametrious Crownover is a real-life giant whose ceiling is far and away one of the highest in the 2026 offensive tackle class. The Texas A&M right tackle is the domineering size threat who can erase pass rushers from plays with his sheer physical presence. While he isn't quite a first-round prospect due to his rawness, his combination of size and athleticism has him ranked 5th among offensive tackles and 50th overall on draft boards. Crownover is a true road-grader in the run game with hyper-elite line re-setting ability-when he gets his hands on defenders, they are moved. In pass protection, he's understandably more raw with his hand usage, but for his size he has above-average knee bend and leverage acquisition. He can get depth on his kick with a clean pass set, and given more time to develop, he projects as a natural starter at the right tackle spot in the NFL. His combination of size, power, and developing technique makes him an intriguing Day 2 prospect with significan't upside. Teams looking for a mauling presence at tackle will be drawn to his film, even as they account for the refinement still needed in his pass protection.
