Samuel at STTM #28 tier 4 in 2025 closes the first Commanders season at the same rank trajectory as his late-49ers years: tier 2, tier 6, tier 4. The unique dual-threat profile (only WR with 20-plus rushing AND 20-plus receiving TDs) makes him a true hybrid weapon, but the volume is now capped by Jayden Daniels's injury-shortened 2025.
Samuel was born in Inman, South Carolina, attended Chapman High, and was a 2018 first-team All-American at South Carolina. San Francisco took him 36th overall in the 2019 NFL Draft. He was 2021 first-team All-Pro, made one Pro Bowl, and is the only wide receiver in NFL history with 20 receiving touchdowns and 20 rushing touchdowns. He was traded to Washington for 2025. Career line is 406 catches for 5,519 yards and 27 receiving TDs plus 21 rushing TDs.
