Jonah Coleman is a high-floor running back who profiles as a three-down utility player in the NFL. The 5'9", 228-pound Washington tailback followed coach Jedd Fisch from Arizona where he appeared in all 25 games over two seasons, amassing 1,243 yards and 9 touchdowns. His junior campaign at Washington saw Coleman explode onto the national scene, churning out 1,053 yards and 10 touchdowns behind an inconsistent offensive line-becoming just the 15th player in Husky history to eclipse 1,000 yards while earning third-team All-Big Ten honors. Coleman has high-end vision, able to find open holes while also setting up defenders and creating openings on the second level. His dense lower half allows him to absorb contact and remain balanced to pick up yards. Perhaps most impressively, he has zero fumbles in over 400 career carries, demonstrating elite ball security. The former 3-star recruit is also a reliable pass protector, fearlessly stepping up to take on free runners. At over 228 pounds, he runs with power and balance to gain yards after contact yet shows surprising foot quickness and lateral agility for his size. Coleman's playing style is similar to David Montgomery-a great option for offenses looking to wear down opponents and grind out the clock.
