Taylor's 2025 climb to STTM #2 tier 1 (from #11 tier 3 the previous year) restores the 2021 ceiling that briefly looked like the peak. 380 carries for 1,965 yards (5.17 YPC) and 20 rushing TDs is one of the heaviest workloads in the field. The profile is now built on volume; the receiving game (57 targets, 46 catches) is real but secondary.
Taylor was born in Salem, New Jersey, set the state's high school rushing record, and finished his Wisconsin career as the first FBS player to rush for 6,000-plus yards in any three-year span and a two-time Doak Walker Award winner. Indianapolis took him 41st overall in the 2020 NFL Draft. He led the NFL in rushing yards in 2021, won the rushing TD title that year and again in 2025, was first-team All-Pro in 2021, and has earned three Pro Bowls.
