STM Take
Swift climbed from STTM #42 tier 8 in his first Chicago year to #10 tier 3 in his second, the cleanest one-year rebound on the RB board outside Warren. The career pattern (#39, #25, #42, #10) is a roller coaster, and the rank says the floor is lower than the ceiling. The 2025 jump is real but stacked on three tier-7-or-worse finishes.
Swift was born in Philadelphia, attended St. Joseph's Preparatory School, and played three years at Georgia where he earned first-team All-SEC honors in 2019. Detroit took him 35th overall in the 2020 NFL Draft. He was traded to Philadelphia for 2023, signed with Chicago in 2024, and earned his first Pro Bowl after the 2023 season with the Eagles.
Strengths
- 271 career receptions for 2,097 yards and 9 receiving TDs; the pass-game profile travels through three teams.
- 32-rank improvement from 2024 to 2025, the second-largest year-over-year jump in the top fifteen.
Concerns
- Career line outside 2023 and 2025 reads tier 7 or tier 8; the floor is established and it is low.
- 4.5 career YPC on 4,775 yards is the lowest among all top-12 ranked RBs in 2025.
What to watch: Whether Caleb Williams's year-three offense holds Swift's carry share above 220; that volume is the entire tier-2 case.
