Tier 2 #12 as a rookie is one of the strongest debut OT finishes on the board, and the 2nd-round draft slot makes it a meaningful value find for Ben Johnson's Chicago rebuild. The 6'8"/316 frame plus 1st-team All-ACC pedigree establishes the physical profile most teams want at RT. Trapilo came out of Boston College as Chicago's 2nd-round pick (39th overall) in 2025 after a senior season that earned him 1st-team All-ACC honors. At 6'8" and 316 pounds he is one of the largest tackles in the league, with the long-arm reach that pass-protection coaches value at the position. Chicago drafted him as the long-term right tackle alongside Darnell Wright, with veteran Braxton Jones presumably staying at LT through 2025 before any role changes.
