Etienne is an explosive running back with exceptional burst and change-of-direction ability. He displays excellent vision, quickly identifying running lanes and making decisive cuts. In space, Etienne is elusive, making defenders miss with subtle movements and maintaining balance through contact. He shows good patience behind the line of scrimmage, setting up blocks before accelerating through holes. As a receiver, Etienne has reliable hands and the route-running ability to create mismatches against linebackers. He demonstrates competitive toughness, always fighting for extra yards.
