From three straight tier 8 finishes (#65, #64, #64) to tier 3 (#23) in 2025 is the largest single-year STTM jump on the OT board this year. The 9th overall draft slot finally produced a starter-grade finish in Year 4, which is the development arc Seattle has been waiting for. At 26 with multiple prime years ahead, the 2026 question is whether the tier 3 finish was a one-year inflection or a sustained step up.
Cross came out of Mississippi State as Seattle's 1st-round pick (9th overall) in 2022 after a sophomore season that earned him 1st-team All-SEC honors. He has spent his entire career at left tackle for the Seahawks, with three straight tier 8 finishes (#65, #64, #64) preceding the 2025 breakout to tier 3 (#23).
