STM Take

The career arc is clear from the STTM line: tier 5 #17 in 2019 with Buffalo to tier 8 #59 in 2025 with the Giants, with four ranks across four teams in between. Wk 13's 19.2 PPR and Wk 17's 17 PPR show the ceiling when Tracy is limited; the sub-6 PPR weeks (5.6, 2.4, 4.7) show the floor when Tracy is healthy. He is a veteran passing-down backup with intermittent standalone value.

Singletary came out of FAU as Buffalo's 3rd-round pick (74th overall) in 2019 after a college career that produced 4,287 rushing yards and 67 rushing touchdowns. His 2019 rookie season earned a tier 5 STTM #17 finish, the high water mark of his career. After three seasons in Buffalo and one in Houston (2023 #36), he signed with the Giants in 2024 as the veteran behind Tyrone Tracy Jr. and has settled into the third-down passing back role at age 29.

Strengths

  • 67 college rushing touchdowns at FAU plus a tier 5 rookie season with Buffalo establishes a real career foundation. The Wk 11-17 2025 stretch produced three games over 17 PPR.
  • Pass-protection grades and career receiving production (160+ catches across 7 NFL seasons) make him a genuine three-down option in spot duty.

Concerns

  • Steady ranking decline since the 2019 peak (#17, #30, #36, #53, #59) confirms the trajectory. Age 29 means there is no reasonable rebound expectation.
  • Behind Tracy he is a backup, and the Giants offensive line and overall offense cap the ceiling further.

What to watch: Whether the Giants retain him at 30 as a known commodity behind Tracy or move on for a cheaper younger backup with cap savings.
