The 2025 #84 (tier 8) rookie finish is anchored by a strong four-week stretch: Wks 13-17 produced 11.5, 10, 15.2, 13.9, with one zero in Wk 15. That is genuinely encouraging WR3 production for a 3rd-round rookie. The Wks 11-12 zeros show the role was rotational early before the offense expanded his snap share. The 2026 trajectory depends on whether Jameson Williams's role compresses, opening the WR3 ceiling.

TeSlaa came out of Arkansas (after transferring from Division II Hillsdale College) as Detroit's 3rd-round pick (70th overall) in 2025. He was a combine workout star: 4.43 forty plus a 39.5" vertical at 6'4"/214, the kind of athletic profile that pulled his stock up from his Group of Five college production line. Detroit drafted him as the boundary complement to Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams, with playing time available given Detroit's tendency to use 3-WR personnel groupings.

Strengths

4.43 forty plus 39.5" vertical at 6'4"/214 is genuinely elite athletic profile. Four games of 10+ PPR in his rookie sample (15.2, 13.9, 11.5, 13.4) is meaningful WR3 production.
Detroit's offense (Ben Johnson scheme) historically rewards 3-WR personnel with target distribution. 3rd-round pedigree from D-II origins is a real developmental success story.
