Williams climbed from STTM #81 tier 8 as a rookie to #26 tier 4 in 2024 to #6 tier 1 in 2025, the most aggressive three-year trajectory at the position on this board. The Detroit offense finally cleared a vertical role for him alongside St. Brown. The career 17 TDs on 148 catches is high-touchdown efficiency that pairs with elite track speed (300m hurdles state record holder).
Williams was born in St. Louis, attended Cardinal Ritter, and played one year at Ohio State before transferring to Alabama where he was a 2021 first-team All-American. Detroit took him 12th overall in the 2022 NFL Draft. After two slow developmental years, he broke out at STTM #26 tier 4 in 2024 before climbing to #6 tier 1 in 2025.
