Jadarian Price is an explosive, dynamic running back whose elite speed and big-play ability have made him one of the most intriguing complementary backs in the 2026 NFL Draft class. At 5'11", 209 pounds with a projected 4.44 forty-yard dash, Price brings game-breaking ability despite serving as the backup to Heisman Trophy finalist Jeremiyah Love for the past two seasons. His path to prominence was delayed by a torn Achilles during summer workouts as a freshman in 2022, which robbed him of his entire rookie campaign. The four-star recruit from Denison High School arrived at Notre Dame with serious credentials, having rushed for 4,990 yards and 55 touchdowns while adding 64 receptions during his prep career. Speed is Price's defining trait-24 of his 113 carries in 2025 went for 10+ yards, and he has five career touchdown runs of at least 65 yards, demonstrating his ability to flip the field in one play. His speed also makes him a major special teams threat, averaging 37.5 yards per kickoff return with two touchdowns, including a 100-yard score against USC. Price is exceptionally elusive in the open field, forcing 30 missed tackles in 2025 while showing the ability to cut on a dime. He has been remarkably reliable as a receiver, finishing his Notre Dame career without a single drop, and excels in pass protection despite his role as a backup.
