STM Take
Dart at STTM #20 tier 5 in 12 rookie games is the strongest rookie-year line in the field outside Maye's year-two jump. He set the NFL record for consecutive games with a rushing touchdown by a quarterback (5) and produced a 15-to-5 TD-INT ratio on 339 attempts. The case is real, but a single 12-game rookie sample is a thin baseline.
Dart was born in Kaysville, Utah, raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and finished high school at Corner Canyon as Gatorade Football Player of the Year. He spent his freshman year at USC before transferring to Ole Miss, where he was the 2024 NCAA passer rating leader and won the Conerly Trophy. The Giants took him 25th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Strengths
- Set the NFL record for consecutive games with a rushing TD by a quarterback (5), with 9 rushing TDs in only 12 games.
- 15 passing TDs against 5 INTs as a rookie on 339 attempts; the TD-INT ratio outpaces every other top-25 QB's rookie line outside the elite tier.
Concerns
- 12-game sample is the smallest career resume in the top 25 of the board.
- 63.7 percent completion percentage is good for a rookie but still trails the top-tier QBs at the same age.
What to watch: Whether the rushing-TD pace holds once defenses adjust to his run-zone usage, and whether his completion percentage climbs into the 67-plus range his Ole Miss profile suggested.
