Max Bredeson is a prototypical fullback and tight end hybrid out of Michigan who projects as a versatile offensive weapon at the next level. At 6-2 and 249 pounds, Bredeson has enough size to hold his own as an inline blocker with the quickness and technique to succeed as a blocker out of the backfield. He is the younger brother of former Michigan and current Tampa Bay Buccaneers guard Ben Bredeson. Bredeson earned an 85.2 PFF run-blocking grade that led all tight ends in college football in 2025. He is very experienced from a variety of formations and has reliable hands to get involved as a receiver when necessary. Bredeson was ranked as the No. 2 fullback prospect by Kiper just behind Riley Nowakowski of Indiana. He was invited to the Senior Bowl where he participated in the combine process. Multiple sources project him as a Day 3 selection with his blocking ability and versatility being his primary selling points. PFF mocked him to Detroit in Round 6 due to the Lions need for tight end blocking.
