STM Take
Warren's 2025 climb from STTM #49 tier 8 to #8 tier 2 is the largest year-over-year RB jump in the top fifteen. The career path (Snow College → undrafted → top-10 ranked back) is one of the most improbable on the board. The case is built on a single tier-2 year against a thin sample of starter-volume play.
Warren was born in Clinton, North Carolina and attended East High in Salt Lake City, where he set the Utah state single-season rushing record (3,099 yards) as a senior. He played at Snow College, Utah State, and Oklahoma State, then went undrafted in 2022 and signed with the Steelers. He climbed from undrafted free agent to STTM #8 tier 2 in 2025, with three NFL seasons of starter-or-rotation work.
Strengths
- 41-spot rank jump from 2024 to 2025, the largest positive move on the RB board.
- Career 167 receptions for 1,227 yards as a backfield receiver; the PPR floor lives off targets, not just carries.
Concerns
- Pre-2025 line was STTM #49 tier 8 and #24 tier 6; the 2025 jump sits on top of two unimpressive starting samples.
- Only 12 career rushing TDs across four NFL seasons; the goal-line role has not been his to lose.
What to watch: Whether the carry share holds in 2026 once the touch leader question gets re-tested with a healthy depth chart.
