Two straight tier 8 finishes (#31 in 2024, #42 in 2025) confirm the role: pure backup behind James Cook with one obvious spike game per season. The Wk 18 25.4 PPR was the 2025 highlight, but five sub-6 PPR weeks around it show what the floor looks like when Cook is healthy. He is a James-Cook-injury-handcuff, nothing more.
Davis came out of Kentucky (after transfers from Temple and Vanderbilt) as Buffalo's 4th-round pick (128th overall) in 2024 at the unusually old age of 25.
