Brooks is a compact, powerful running back with excellent balance and contact balance. He displays impressive lower body strength, consistently breaking tackles and falling forward for extra yardage. As a runner, Brooks shows good vision, finding cutback lanes and setting up blocks effectively. He accelerates quickly through holes and has enough speed to break long runs when he finds daylight. Brooks demonstrates reliable hands as a receiver out of the backfield and has shown improvement in pass protection.
