First STTM ranking at tier 4 (#30) on a $30M contract to be a starting LT is below where the contract projected. The 49ers four-year understudy time to Trent Williams gave him technique that should have translated faster. Patrick Mahomes was hit too often in 2025; the Chiefs' OL coaches have a 2026 question about whether Moore can sustain or whether they pursue another option.
Moore came out of Western Michigan as San Francisco's 5th-round pick (155th overall) in 2021. He spent four seasons in San Francisco as Trent Williams's primary swing-tackle backup, with brief flashes when Williams missed time. Kansas City signed him to a 2-year, $30M deal in March 2025 to be the long-term left tackle solution after Patrick Mahomes was visibly pressured in Super Bowl LIX. The tier 4 (#30) finish in his first KC season is his first STTM ranking.
