Le'Veon Moss 2026 NFL Draft Profile | RB from Texas A&M

Scouting Report

Le'Veon Moss is a talented three-down running back from Texas A&M who excels in gap scheme and downhill running concepts with the vision patience and short-area quickness to be a productive NFL back. A former 4-star recruit and All-SEC Second Team selection Moss rushed for 765 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2024 before being sidelined with an injury suffered against Florida. At 6-0 and 210 pounds Moss runs well behind his pads between the tackles powering through arm tackles and pushing piles with strong leg drive. He has a nose for the endzone with 22 rushing touchdowns during his career making him a natural goal-line and short-yardage back. His compact frame handles the physicality between the tackles and his feet rarely stop upon first contact. Moss has good short-area quickness and suddenness to take advantage of lanes opening quickly accelerating through gaps and climbing to the second level. He combines vision and patience pressing the line of scrimmage before hitting the hole with burst. He is a disciplined runner who stays on his designated path and takes what the defense gives him. His three-down skill set includes catching passes out of the backfield and contributing in pass protection. However Moss runs with a high and upright style that limits his ability to convert speed-to-power and fall forward at the point of attack. Despite a track and field background as a sprinter his top-end speed does not allow him to rip off big explosive plays and he is caught from behind more than you would like. His balance is susceptible to shoestring and fingertip tackles costing him bigger gains. Bleacher Report graded him 7.5 as a key contributor ranking him 55th overall and RB2 comparing him to a less-explosive Josh Jacobs. ESPN's Mel Kiper also ranked him on his big board.
