The 2025 #32 (tier 8) is a real jump from 2024's #64 (tier 8) and the move from Denver to New Orleans looks like it suits his profile better. The Wk 17-18 stretch (16.8 and 15.6 PPR) shows what he can do when handed lead-back carries, but tier 8 in both NFL seasons confirms the efficiency metrics have not caught up to the size and draft pedigree.
Estime came out of Notre Dame as Denver's 5th-round pick (147th overall) in 2024 after a 1,341-yard senior season for the Irish that earned him 1st-team All-American honors. At 5'11" and 227 pounds with a sub-4.7 forty, he profiles as a downhill power back who runs through contact. Denver waived him during the 2025 season after Sean Payton soured on his ball-security work, and New Orleans claimed him off waivers within 48 hours. He is in his age-23 season with a clear opportunity to push for the lead role in Klint Kubiak's outside-zone scheme.
Strengths
- 1,341 rushing yards as a Notre Dame senior plus 1st-team All-American honors is a legitimate college production sample. His 5'11"/227 frame is starter-grade for downhill schemes.
