The college arc from FCS to Heisman finalist is the underdog case; the NFL sample is too small to confirm. He sits as one of the highest-ceiling unknowns in the bottom half of the top-20.
Skattebo was born in Rio Linda, California, attended Rio Linda High where his only Division I offer was Sacramento State, and was Big Sky Offensive Player of the Year in 2022. He transferred to Arizona State, won 2024 Big 12 Player of the Year, was a first-team All-American, and finished fifth in the 2024 Heisman vote behind Ashton Jeanty. The Giants took him 105th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft.
