STM Take

The 2025 #81 (tier 8) rookie finish is solid for a 4th-round investment, anchored by a Wk 12 21.4 PPR explosion and three other 13+ PPR games (Wk 16 13, Wk 14 13.4, Wk 17 10.2). The Wk 13 1.9 and Wk 15 5 floor weeks show the role is still rookie-rotational, not defined WR2. At 23 with Cam Ward's career arc still ahead, the 2026 development trajectory is the open question.

Dike came out of Florida (after transferring from Wisconsin) as Tennessee's 4th-round pick (103rd overall) in 2025 after a senior season that produced 783 receiving yards plus a 4.34 combine forty. At 6'1" and 200 pounds with the sub-4.4 speed, he profiles as a vertical-speed slot/Z receiver in modern offensive concepts. Tennessee drafted him as a complement to the Cam Ward-Chig Okonkwo passing development, with playing time available given the broader rebuild around the rookie QB.

Strengths

  • 4.34 combine forty at 6'1"/200 is genuinely elite physical profile. Wk 12 2025's 21.4 PPR explosion is the kind of single-game ceiling few rookies produce.
  • Four games of 10+ PPR in his rookie 2025 sample shows the role is real. Sub-4.4 speed at his size unlocks vertical concepts Tennessee has not had since AJ Brown.

Concerns

  • Rookie tier 8 finish with the Wk 13 1.9 and Wk 15 5 floor weeks confirms the role is still rotational, not defined WR2.
  • Cam Ward as a rookie QB is the variable; Dike's ceiling depends on Ward's development. Calvin Ridley's $92M contract caps the alpha-target tree.

What to watch: Whether his 2026 target share clears 5 per game with Cam Ward in Year 2, the threshold every successful 4th-round WR has historically needed to hit by Year 2.
