He possesses exceptional movement skills for his size, with the lateral agility to mirror speed rushers and recover when beaten initially. In pass protection, Simmons shows a smooth kick slide and the length to keep defenders at bay. His anchor strength continues to develop, allowing him to absorb power rushes. In the run game, Simmons demonstrates good initial quickness and the ability to work to the second level.
