From tier 5 #38 (Baltimore 2021) to tier 8 #59 (KC 2025) with the Arizona detour and two injury-shortened seasons in between is the textbook bust-of-a-1st-round-pick arc. The 2025 game log (zeros in 4 of 8 logged weeks, none above 10 PPR) shows what happens when the body finally fails. At 28 he is fighting for relevance in the Chiefs' WR depth chart against Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice.

Brown (known as Hollywood) came out of Oklahoma as Baltimore's 1st-round pick (25th overall) in 2019 with Lamar Jackson as his college pitcher's brother and NFL teammate. His Baltimore peak was 2021 (tier 5 #38 on 91 catches for 1,008 yards), then Baltimore traded him to Arizona where injuries derailed his next two seasons. Kansas City signed him on a 1-year deal in 2024 and re-signed him for 2025; a shoulder injury in preseason 2024 cost him most of that year. His 2025 game log shows multiple zero-PPR appearances confirming another lost season.

Strengths

2021 Baltimore production (91 catches, 1,008 yards, tier 5 #38) is genuine 1,000-yard WR2 baseline. Career receiving yards total 4,000+ across his NFL tenure.
Sub-4.3 forty plus the Lamar Jackson college chemistry still gives him a deep-threat ceiling when healthy. Kansas City's offense values speed.

Concerns

Three straight tier 8 finishes (#73 in 2023, #85 in 2024, #59 in 2025) confirm the trajectory. The 2024 preseason shoulder injury continues to compress his usage.
Multiple zero-PPR games in 2025 (Wks 15, 16, 17, 18) is the failure mode of a healthy scratch every other week. KC's WR investments mean his role is unlikely to expand.

What to watch: Whether Kansas City retains him through final cuts in 2026 or cuts ties given Xavier Worthy's emergence and Rashee Rice's contract status.
