Taylen Green is the most physically gifted quarterback prospect in the 2026 NFL Draft class, possessing a freakish combination of size, arm strength, and athleticism that makes him a one-of-one prospect. The Lewisville, Texas native began his career at Boise State, winning Mountain West Freshman of the Year in 2022 and Conference Championship MVP in 2023 before transferring to Arkansas for his final two seasons. At 6'6", 235 pounds, Green fits the current archetype of game-changing dual-threat quarterbacks in today's NFL-he can throw well enough to win while having the athleticism to break defenses' hearts on key third and fourth downs. His rocket arm matche's his elite physical tools, and he checks all the boxes athletically with speed, acceleration, and explosiveness that he effectively uses as both a passer and runner. His first season for the Razorbacks was his best: 3,154 passing yards, 15 touchdowns, 602 rushing yards, and eight rushing touchdowns while leading Arkansas to a 7-6 record and a Liberty Bowl victory. Green excels at RPO and play-action passing, selling handoffs and run fakes well from multiple formations. However, the gap between Green's highlight reel and down-to-down consistency explains his mid-round projection. His hero-ball mentality leads to risky throws and head-scratching decisions. His accuracy is inconsistent across all three levels, and his elongated release slows down throw time. His pocket management creates problems for his offensive line, as he retreats into pressure or holds the ball too long. Green is a raw, developmental option who needs time to adapt to NFL concepts-a Day 3 multi-year project for the right coaching staff.
