Tuten came out of Virginia Tech as Jacksonville's 4th-round pick (104th overall) in 2025 after a 1,159-rushing-yard senior season that included a 4.32 forty at the combine. He transferred to Virginia Tech from North Carolina A&T as a graduate, posting 1,484 and 1,159 rushing yards in his two FBS seasons.
