In the pocket, Rourke shows poise under pressure, maintaining proper mechanics even when defenders are closing in. His accuracy stands out, particularly in the short to intermediate areas where he places the ball well for receivers to run after the catch. Rourke demonstrates good anticipation, throwing receivers open and leading them away from defenders. He has adequate mobility to extend plays and pick up yards when necessary.
