STM Take
Stevenson's 2025 climb to STTM #21 tier 6 (from #38 tier 8 in both 2023 and 2024) is the first real bounce of his career since the 2022 tier-3 finish. The late-season game log lit up (35.3 PPR Wk 18, 27.2 PPR Wk 17) and the recovery looks more workload-driven than scheme-driven. The Patriots offense around Maye finally lifted the floor.
Stevenson was born in Las Vegas, attended Centennial High School, played two years at Cerritos College before transferring to Oklahoma where he was the 2020 Cotton Bowl MVP. New England took him 120th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft and he has been their lead back since. Career line is 3,669 rushing yards, 28 TDs, 186 catches for 1,295 yards across five NFL seasons.
Strengths
- 17-rank improvement from 2024 to 2025; the rebound came alongside Drake Maye's STTM #1 quarterback year.
- Two 27-plus PPR games in the final three weeks of 2025; the ceiling weeks still come.
Concerns
- Two straight years at STTM #38 tier 8 before 2025; the rebound sits on a stack of disappointing seasons.
- 4.4 career YPC is below the top-tier efficiency baseline at the position.
What to watch: Whether the Patriots' improving passing game keeps the run-game scripts open or whether Maye's air-yards force a Pat-style pass-first attack.
