How the 2027 NFL mock draft works

Pick your team (or several), set the rounds, and draft against AI front offices trained on 1M+ real user drafts. Player and pick trades, instant grades, all 7 rounds. Free, no signup.

What it is, in one line: the StickToTheModel NFL Mock Draft Simulator is a free, 7-round 2027 NFL mock draft you run against AI front offices, with pick and player trades, a grade on every selection and a grade on your whole class at the end.

  • Free, no signup, one draft a day without an account.
  • All 7 rounds, every pick in the 2027 draft, or a quick 1-round mock.
  • Trades both ways: propose them, or field offers when you are on the clock.
  • 12 big boards to draft from, including the STM model, ESPN and PFF.
  • AI opponents trained on 1M+ real user drafts, three draft styles.
  • Updated Nov 6, 2026: the board, team needs and the draft order refresh every Monday.

The mock draft simulator that grades every pick

Run the 2027 NFL Draft the way a front office would. Draft for any of the 32 teams, or control several at once, through all 7 rounds. The AI general managers pick from consensus big boards blended with how half a million real users actually draft, so runs on positions happen where they happen in real life.

The 2027 NFL draft order the simulator starts from

Round 1 if the season ended today, with every traded pick going to its owner. Pick Today or Projected under Order above to draft from this order or from where our season simulations expect each team to finish. Tap a team for its Draft HQ: needs, picks and the prospects likely there.

How the NFL mock draft simulator works

1. Pick your team, or several

Tap one team in the grid above to run its draft, tap several to run a whole division, or check All to make every pick yourself. Every team you leave alone is run by an AI front office.

2. Set the draft

Choose 1 to 7 rounds, the draft class, a draft style and the draft order, then press Start. All settings opens the rest: 12 big boards to draft from, any team's needs, and the order pick by pick.

3. Draft, trade, get graded

When you are on the clock, take a player, trade down or trade up. AI teams send you offers and trade with each other, priced on a draft value chart that charges a premium for quarterbacks. Every pick gets a grade the moment you make it, and your whole class is graded at the end.

How the AI teams pick

Each AI front office weighs where a prospect sits on the board against its own biggest needs, the way real teams draft. Realistic keeps picks close to the board. Balanced and Chaos let teams reach, and let runs on a position start early, the way a real draft room panics.

Where team needs come from

Every team's needs are ranked from its whole position room, not just its starters, graded against the rest of the league. A thin room with no young player to take over ranks higher, and the positions that matter most on draft day, quarterback, edge rusher and tackle, count most. The 2027 NFL mock draft we publish every week runs on the same needs.

Frequently asked questions

Is the mock draft simulator free?

Yes. Pick any team, run all 7 rounds, make trades, and get graded, no signup required. Over 1 million drafts have been run on it.

Can I trade picks and players?

Yes. You can propose trades using a value-based trade calculator, and the AI teams will offer you trades too. Trades can include future picks and players, with a QB premium applied the way real front offices price the position.

Does the simulator cover all 7 rounds?

Yes, every pick in the 2027 NFL Draft. Most simulators stop after round 1; here you can run a quick 1-round mock or the full 7-round draft for as many teams as you want at once.

How do the draft grades work?

Every pick is graded on value versus the consensus board, positional need, and where the player was expected to go. You get a per-pick grade and a full draft-class grade at the end.

How realistic are the AI picks?

The AI opponents are trained on 1M+ real user drafts plus consensus big boards, and the draft style is yours: Realistic keeps picks close to the board, Chaos lets runs and reaches happen. Exact sliders live in All settings.

Can I customize the big board and team needs?

Yes. Open All settings to draft from 12 different boards (consensus, STTM, ESPN, PFF and more), edit any team's needs, reorder the draft order pick by pick, and save your setup. Browse the 2027 big board.

What draft order does the simulator use?

The 2027 order if the season ended today, every traded pick included, or the projected final order from our season simulations. Switch between them with the Order control, or reorder the picks yourself in All settings. See the full 2027 NFL draft order.

Can I do a mock draft with friends?

Yes. Open a multiplayer room, send the link, and each friend takes a team. You draft live together while the AI picks for every team nobody claimed. Start a multiplayer mock draft.

Mock draft by team: every first pick and the biggest needs, all 32

Who does your team take? Our first-round pick for each franchise from this week's 2027 NFL mock draft, the roster holes behind it, and a one-click 7-round mock as that team. Refreshed every Monday.

Buffalo Bills mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Bills take Trevor Lauck, OT from Iowa, with the 31st pick. Offensive tackle sits atop Buffalo's needs list, and Siereveld addresses it directly even if taking him five spots ahead of his #36 ranking is a mild reach. Biggest Bills needs: linebacker, interior line and safety. Run a Bills 7-round mock draft

Miami Dolphins mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Dolphins take Jeremiah Smith, WR from Ohio State, with the 3rd pick. Quarterback sits atop the Jets' need list, and with two QBs already off the board at picks one and two, taking Sayin third means grabbing the most polished processor left even though his overall rank of 12 says this is a reach of nine spots. Biggest Dolphins needs: quarterback, edge rusher and safety. Run a Dolphins 7-round mock draft

New England Patriots mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Patriots take Ellis Robinson IV, CB from Georgia, with the 21st pick. IDL sits at the top of Detroit's board right below cornerback, and Echoles falling to 21 after a rank of 19 is close to a non-story, just a modest slide rather than a real value coup. Biggest Patriots needs: safety, linebacker and interior line. Run a Patriots 7-round mock draft

New York Jets mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Jets take Leonard Moore, CB from Notre Dame, with the 4th pick. With three quarterbacks already off the board, Cleveland gets to simply take the best player left, and it happens to line up with their third-ranked need at cornerback. Biggest Jets needs: quarterback, interior defensive line and interior line. Run a Jets 7-round mock draft

Baltimore Ravens mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Ravens take Ashton Hampton, CB from Clemson, with the 15th pick. With QB and RB needs already presumably addressed or unavailable at premium value, Minnesota pivots to safety, their third-ranked need, and gets a true value play, taking Bolden right at his #15 rank. Biggest Ravens needs: cornerback, offensive tackle and running back. Run a Ravens 7-round mock draft

Cincinnati Bengals mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Bengals take Chris Cole, LB from Georgia, with the 24th pick. CB was the clear top need, but with the board thin at corner by pick 24, New England instead grabs their No. Biggest Bengals needs: interior line, linebacker and tight end. Run a Bengals 7-round mock draft

Cleveland Browns mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Browns take CJ Carr, QB from Notre Dame, with the 5th pick. Wide receiver sits at the top of Las Vegas's need list, and Jeremiah Smith is the top-ranked prospect in the entire class falling to them at pick five, a genuine slide rather than a reach. Biggest Browns needs: quarterback, edge rusher and cornerback. Run a Browns 7-round mock draft

Pittsburgh Steelers mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Steelers take Kelley Jones, CB from Mississippi State, with the 28th pick. Offensive tackle sits at the Chiefs' number two need, and Lauck gives them a plug-and-play blindside option at pick 28, even if it means passing up better value elsewhere. Biggest Steelers needs: quarterback, cornerback and edge rusher. Run a Steelers 7-round mock draft

Houston Texans mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Texans take Dylan Stewart, EDGE from South Carolina, with the 11th pick. IDL sits atop the Giants' need list, and Stone falling to them at 11 despite grading as the 10th-best prospect in the class is close to a no-brainer. Biggest Texans needs: running back, cornerback and interior defensive line. Run a Texans 7-round mock draft

Indianapolis Colts mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Colts take Matayo Uiagalelei, EDGE from Oregon, with the 38th pick in round 2. Tennessee already used pick six on tackle Trevor Goosby, so grabbing an edge here at 38 is a small reach at 42 rather than a needs-blind panic pick. Biggest Colts needs: edge rusher, cornerback and interior defensive line. Run a Colts 7-round mock draft

Jacksonville Jaguars mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Jaguars take Greg Johnson, IOL from Minnesota, with the 29th pick. Wide receiver sits fourth on Baltimore's need list behind cornerback, edge and tackle, but Becker falling to 29 after a rank of 22 is the kind of value that overrides pure need order. Biggest Jaguars needs: safety, cornerback and interior line. Run a Jaguars 7-round mock draft

Tennessee Titans mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Titans take Jordan Seaton, OT from LSU, with the 12th pick. Washington addresses its top-ranked need with a receiver who has the frame and speed teams dream on, but reaching eight spots ahead of his ranking is a bet on traits over production. Biggest Titans needs: tight end, running back and offensive tackle. Run a Titans 7-round mock draft

Denver Broncos mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Broncos take Jamari Johnson, TE from Oregon, with the 23rd pick. San Francisco addresses its second-biggest need here, taking Baugh three spots ahead of his overall ranking of 26. Biggest Broncos needs: tight end, receiver and interior line. Run a Broncos 7-round mock draft

Kansas City Chiefs mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Chiefs take Trey'Dez Green, TE from LSU, with the 25th pick. Cornerback sits atop the Chargers' need list, and Jones comes off the board at exactly his consensus rank of 25, making this about as clean a need-meets-value pick as you'll find in this draft. Biggest Chiefs needs: tight end, offensive tackle and safety. Run a Chiefs 7-round mock draft

Las Vegas Raiders mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Raiders take Charlie Becker, WR from Indiana, with the 14th pick. With three quarterbacks already off the board before pick 14, Pittsburgh can't fix its QB need here, so they pivot to their second priority and get a massive gift in the process. Biggest Raiders needs: offensive tackle, receiver and interior line. Run a Raiders 7-round mock draft

Los Angeles Chargers mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Chargers take Drew Mestemaker, QB from Oklahoma State, with the 1st pick. Quarterback is Arizona's clear top need, so taking Manning first overall is easy to justify on need alone, even though he's ranked one spot behind the board's top prospect. Biggest Chargers needs: interior defensive line, quarterback and linebacker. Run a Chargers 7-round mock draft

Dallas Cowboys mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Cowboys take Lance Heard, OT from Kentucky, with the 20th pick. Offensive tackle sits atop Dallas's need list, and Green comes off the board almost exactly where his rank says he should, a marginal one-spot reach that's essentially a non-issue at this point in the first round. Biggest Cowboys needs: linebacker, tight end and cornerback. Run a Cowboys 7-round mock draft

New York Giants mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Giants take Justin Scott, DL from Miami (FL), with the 22nd pick. Tackle sits fourth on Philadelphia's board, but with safety, interior line, and running back all ranked higher, this is a slight reach at 22 for a player graded 27th overall. Biggest Giants needs: interior defensive line, edge rusher and receiver. Run a Giants 7-round mock draft

Philadelphia Eagles mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Eagles take Jadan Baugh, RB from Florida, with the 16th pick. With no clear pressing need dictating the pick, Jacksonville leans on best-player-available logic here, and getting a player ranked 13th overall at pick 16 is a reasonable value proposition even accounting for the slight slide. Biggest Eagles needs: running back, edge rusher and safety. Run a Eagles 7-round mock draft

Washington Commanders mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Commanders take Colin Simmons, EDGE from Texas, with the 9th pick. Quarterback is Carolina's glaring top need, and with three signal-callers already off the board in the first eight picks, the Panthers apparently decided they couldn't risk waiting. Biggest Commanders needs: receiver, tight end and safety. Run a Commanders 7-round mock draft

Chicago Bears mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Bears take John Henry Daley, EDGE from Michigan, with the 58th pick in round 2. QB is sixth on Houston's need list, and the Texans have already used an earlier pick on EDGE help, so spending a second-rounder on a developmental quarterback here is a reach relative to his #65 ranking and ahead of bigger holes at RB, CB and OT. Biggest Bears needs: cornerback, edge rusher and interior line. Run a Bears 7-round mock draft

Detroit Lions mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Lions take Will Heldt, EDGE from Clemson, with the 26th pick. Houston bypasses the top need at running back to address the second-ranked need on their board, and the value is basically a wash since Uiagalelei goes just two spots ahead of his overall rank. Biggest Lions needs: cornerback, edge rusher and interior line. Run a Lions 7-round mock draft

Green Bay Packers mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Packers take Sammy Brown, LB from Clemson, with the 53rd pick in round 2. Cornerback sits atop Detroit's needs board, and Frederique going two spots ahead of his consensus rank barely qualifies as a reach given how thin the value gap actually is. Biggest Packers needs: interior line, linebacker and cornerback. Run a Packers 7-round mock draft

Minnesota Vikings mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Vikings take Ryan Wingo, WR from Texas, with the 32nd pick. With their earlier pick spent on cornerback Leonard Moore, Cleveland circles back to address quarterback, the actual top need on the board, and lands Mestemaker exactly where he's ranked at 32. Biggest Vikings needs: quarterback, receiver and safety. Run a Vikings 7-round mock draft

Atlanta Falcons mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Falcons take Trinidad Chambliss, QB from Ole Miss, with the 8th pick. Offensive tackle is New Orleans' top listed need, and Seaton is the top-graded tackle in this class, so the positional logic is sound even if the pick comes one slot ahead of his overall ranking. Biggest Falcons needs: quarterback, linebacker and receiver. Run a Falcons 7-round mock draft

Carolina Panthers mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Panthers take Darian Mensah, QB from Miami (FL), with the 18th pick. This is pure best-player-available logic dressed up as need-filling. Biggest Panthers needs: quarterback, interior line and safety. Run a Panthers 7-round mock draft

New Orleans Saints mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Saints take Trevor Goosby, OT from Texas, with the 13th pick. After grabbing Julian Sayin at pick 3, the Jets pivot to value here rather than reaching for a positional need higher on their board. Biggest Saints needs: offensive tackle, linebacker and cornerback. Run a Saints 7-round mock draft

Tampa Bay Buccaneers mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Buccaneers take Dante Moore, QB from Oregon, with the 7th pick. With their quarterback need already addressed elsewhere on the board and Jeremiah Smith gone at pick five, Atlanta grabs the next best thing at their number two need. Biggest Buccaneers needs: quarterback, interior defensive line and interior line. Run a Buccaneers 7-round mock draft

Arizona Cardinals mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Cardinals take Arch Manning, QB from Texas, with the 2nd pick. Quarterback is Miami's obvious top need, and with Arch Manning already off the board to Arizona at pick one, Moore becomes the clear top passer left. Biggest Cardinals needs: quarterback, receiver and edge rusher. Run a Cardinals 7-round mock draft

Los Angeles Rams mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Rams take Boubacar Traore, EDGE from Notre Dame, with the 47th pick in round 2. Edge rusher sits at five on Minnesota's needs list, and after grabbing safety KJ Bolden earlier in the draft, this pick lets the Vikings keep addressing defensive depth without reaching. Biggest Rams needs: interior defensive line, edge rusher and receiver. Run a Rams 7-round mock draft

San Francisco 49ers mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the 49ers take Kade Pieper, IOL from Iowa, with the 30th pick. Wide receiver is only the fourth-ranked need for Seattle, sitting behind interior line, cornerback, and interior defensive line, but getting a talent ranked #24 overall fall to pick 30 is the kind of value teams are supposed to jump on. Biggest 49ers needs: interior line, running back and offensive tackle. Run a 49ers 7-round mock draft

Seattle Seahawks mock draft 2027

In our latest 2027 mock draft the Seahawks take Cam Coleman, WR from Texas, with the 17th pick. After grabbing their quarterback of the future at pick 3 and shoring up the corner spot with Ellis Robinson at 13, the Jets turn to safety, their fourth-ranked need, and land Tae Johnson exactly where the board says he belongs. Biggest Seahawks needs: edge rusher, receiver and offensive tackle. Run a Seahawks 7-round mock draft
