Three straight tier 8 finishes (#87, #61, #66) define the role: career slot WR3 whose production is anchored to whatever the Patriots QB room produces. The 2025 game log is genuinely consistent (Wks 11-13 produced 6.1, 6.1, 6.3 PPR) but the floor is too low for fantasy relevance. He is a defined slot piece in Drake Maye's progression reads, not a player breaking out into a meaningful WR2 role.
Douglas (known as Pop) came out of Liberty as New England's 6th-round pick (210th overall) in 2023 after a 793-yard senior season at the Group of Five level. At 5'8" and 178 pounds, he profiled as a pure slot WR with elite quickness but limited downfield ceiling. He immediately earned the Patriots' slot role as a rookie (49 catches for 561 yards, tier 8 #87) and has held it for three seasons. The 2024 (#61) and 2025 (#66) finishes reflect the Patriots' broader offensive struggles more than a Douglas-specific issue.
