Our projection model, the same one behind the best ball board. In dynasty mode a player is worth their median projection times an age-based dynasty factor, so young players with long runways climb and aging vets slide. In best ball mode a player is worth their ceiling-weighted best ball score. Values are fantasy points, so "wins by 40" means an actual season-long points gap, not an arbitrary index.
A mid 2027 1st comes in around 108 points, about what a low-end starter returns in a season. That is the average of what mid-first rookie picks have actually produced across the 2018-2025 classes, discounted 15% because the pick is a year from converting. Early firsts are worth meaningfully more (the 1.01 tops the chart above), and thirds are lottery tickets and priced like it.
KeepTradeCut measures crowd sentiment: what thousands of voters feel players are worth today. We compute model value: what the projections and eight seasons of rookie draft classes say. The crowd is better at pricing hype and market demand; the model is better at ignoring both. When they disagree, that disagreement is usually the trade's real question, and now you have both answers.
The verdict compares the two totals and sizes the gap against the whole trade. Inside 5% is a fair deal. Past that we call the winning side, quantify the gap in points, and name a player worth roughly that gap, so you know exactly what you are giving away.
